Are you serious?
I ordered these off of Amazon about a week ago, expecting them to be a quality Apple product. I literally just opened the box, and I had been handling them for about a minute before the metal piece that was supposed to be the mic fell off into my palm. It's a little piece of plastic. What the hell? These headphones don't even have a mic feature! If you really want these headphones, DON"T order them off of Amazon. I learned this the hard way.

Not Worth Free
I got these bundled with my iPhone, and even free they're not worth it. They're an uncomfortable shape (ears are not perfect circles, not human ones anyway. Maybe Apple engineers have round ears.) They fall out of my ear when I'm running and even when I lay down on my back, head on the pillow they fall out. The sound is okay, standard headphone fare there.

It's nice to have volume control and mic built in, but it's still missing music controls like next/last song buttons.

does what it says
I ordered a pair of these and received them a week later. The voice activation did not work and nobody could hear me on the phone. I sent the merchant an email and they promptly sent out a new pair. I received them a week later and they work perfectly.

Shipping was a little slow, but customer service seemed great.

DOESN'T work
Indeed it was a genuine Apple product. However the MIC did not work at all. I had to go to a REAL Apple store in town and exchange this pair for a working one. APPLE did not charge me for that. Kudos for APPLE.

I would not recommend Merceninc company that resells Apple products.
