Not worth the first penny
I ordered this cable for my Ipod a few moths ago, along with an actual Apple made cable. I've been using the real cable for a while, but I didn't know where it was so good thing I had a back up in my desk right? Wrong. I took this cable out of its little wrapper, and plugged it in. It didn't work so I pulled it out of the ipod only to have it fall apart in my hands. First use ever and it broke. I would not recommend getting anything that's not made by Apple. The one that was shipped to me was not, and like I said, is a POS.

iPhone/iPod cables
I got exactly what I wanted at an insanely low price. The only negative was that I had to email the vendor, as my order did not get shipped properly. I would have liked something extra from the vendor since the order was very late, but, otherwise, it was fine.

frustrated
Bought this item from Chi-tek (aka CTCstore)and charged me $24 to have it expedited for a $2 cable. Came in the mail an open apple brand box. It works on Linux (with my iPod nano 3rd G) but when I try to sync my music from my PC, my iTunes freezes and won't sync anything. What a waste of money. Don't make the mistake I did and don't by from CTCstore. I've seen people fart better products than this junk. Now my ipod is left with the "connected" screen and won't shut off and drain my battery.

nice replacement cables
For such a low price I ordered 3 of them, I'm not 100% sure if they're original Apple cables; they do have Designed by Apple in California... stamped on them like my original cables. If they're not originals, it's an excellent imitation. So far they all work like they are supposed to.

Official iPods have the warranty of a year but if there are deep scratches they don’t offer the warranty repair with the arguments of “mechanical injuries”. Sometimes iPod has waste but that happens 0.1% times. Other complains are explained that the customers couldn’t cope with iPod functions and options. These questions are decided very quickly by phone.
Ipod really has the world warranty. It means that if you have bought your walkman in the USA you can easily repair it in Germany. But you should obligatory save the counterfoil to prove your purchase.

1. It is not recommended to buy the walkman at the market or in the company that has no office..
2. Taking into account that iPods break very often (more than 0,1% of waste) you can save a little buying your walkman abroad but you should OBLIGATORY specify the warranty repair availability at your shop assistant. |
